Multiple Murders in Wisconsin Since 1985

Aug. 2017: Three men were shot to death at the Great Lakes Dragaway near Union Grove in Kenosha County. The victims, all from Illinois, were identified as 30-year-old David Watson, of Oswego; 30-year-old Khalid Howard, of Aurora; and 26-year-old Derek Edwards, of North Aurora. All three suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

March 22, 2017: Nengmy Vang shot four people during a rampage in the Wausau area that was caused by a domestic incident and persistent money problems. The victims included two bank employees, a lawyer and a police detective. They are identified as Everest Metro police Detective Jason T. Weiland, 40; Marathon Savings Bank employees Dianne M. Look, 67, and Karen L. Barclay, 62 and attorney Sarah H. Quirt Sann, 43.

April 2013: Jaren M. Kuester, 31, is accused of killing Dean Thoreson, 76, Gary Thoreson, 70 and Chloe Thoreson, 66, at their rual South Wayne farm.

Oct. 21, 2012: Radcliffe Haughton shoots six women, killing his wife and two others, at the Azana Salon and Spa in Brookfield. He then kills himself.

Aug. 5, 2012: Wade Michael Page, 40, an Army veteran, shoots worshippers in a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, a Milwaukee suburb. Six people were killed while four others were wounded. Page shot and killed himself after being shot by a police officer.

July 10, 2012: Aaron Schaffhausen, 34, has been charged with the killing of his three daughters, ages 11, 8 and 5.

Feb. 3, 2012: Denis Bay shoots and kills his wife and two children, ages 14 and 10, in their De Pere home, before killing himself.

December 2009: Tyrone Adair killed Tracy Judd and their 23-month-old daughter, Deja, in their home at 7265 Squire Road in the town of Middleton, and killed another daughter, Neveah Weigel-Adair, 2, and her mother, Amber Weigel, 25, in their home at 6827 Park Edge Drive on Madison's Southwest Side. Adair committed suicide and his body was discovered several days later.

August 2009: A gunman opened fire on a group of people outside a trailer home in the Menomonie area in western Wisconsin, killing three brothers. The three brothers were identified as Toua Kong, 32; Siong Kong, 25; and Seng Kong, 13.

April 2009: Christine Gollon, 30, and her two children, ages 3 and 2, were killed in their Nelsonville home in Portage County. The estranged boyfriend, Shane Kettner, 36, is accused of the killings.

July 2008: Three teens, Tiffany Pohlson, 17, Anthony Spigarelli, 18, and Bryan Mort, 19, all from Michigan, were shot while swimming in the Menominee River between Wisconsin and Michigan. Scott J. Johnson, 38, was convicted of first-degree intentional homicide. The shootings took place on the Wisconsin side of the river.

July 2008: Four people are killed at a street party in Milwaukee on the Fourth of July. Three men are charged in the killings.

October 2007: Tyler Peterson, an off-duty sheriff's deputy, went on a shooting rampage at a home in Crandon where seven young people had gathered for pizza and movies, killing six and critically injuring the other before authorities fatally shot him.

June 2007: Ambrosio Analco shoots and kills Nicole Mariee McAffee, 19, her infant twins sons Isaiah and Argenis Analco, and her sister, Ashley Huerta, 21, before killing himself. The shootings took place in Delavan.

January 2007: Danyetta Lentz and her teenage children, Nicole, 17, and Scott, 14, were murdered in their mobile home on the outskirts of Janesville.

August 2005: Amy DeBauche, 37, her father, David Jensen, 63, and mother, Jane Jensen, 60, all of Green Bay were shot to death. Amy's estranged husband, David DeBauche, was found guilty of the Oconto County murder.

March 2005: A gunman opened fire during a church service being held at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield, killing seven people and seriously wounding four others before killing himself. The gunman, Terry Ratzmann, was a regular attendee of the services at the Sheraton.

Feb. 2005: Hillsboro assembly line worker Joseph Ganshert, 42, shot and killed his wife, Mary, her 14-year-old son, and their 5-year-old daughter while they slept in their home sometime during the night of Feb. 1. Ganshert drove to his sister's house in Lafayette County on Feb. 2 and shot and killed himself there.

Nov. 2004: Six deer hunters were fatally shot and two others seriously wounded by another deer hunter after he was told to leave a deer stand on private property in Sawyer County. Authorities arrested the suspect, Chai Vang, the same day.

Feb. 2004: Steven M. Tomporowski, 18, of Illinois, shot and killed his parents and an uncle at a Richland County farmhouse the family owned. Tomporowski was found guilty in November.

Nov. 2003: William F. Reichert, 27, shot his wife, Miranda, and their two children, Cara and William, in their beds before shooting himself in their town of Bradley home in Lincoln County.

June 2003: Jason C. McGuigan, 28, Dustin J. Wilson, 17, and Daniel R. Swanson 25, were found shot to death on the first floor of a Verona apartment they shared. Meng Ju Wu is accused of the murders.

June 2002: Michael J. Wilcox, 49, shot himself to death after authorities were searching for him in connection to the shooting deaths of three people, Joseph "Butch" Hrpa, Robert Bowman, 53, and Gail Meidam, 39, in Townsend in Oconto County.

March 2000: A 15-year-old boy was among three people who were found fatally shot inside a Milwaukee home. The two other victims included a 27-year-old Glendale man and a 37-year-old Milwaukee man.

April 1999: Three people were found shot to death in the basement of an apartment building on Milwaukee?s northwest side.

July 1998: Allen F. Krnak, 55; his wife Donna K. Krnak, 52; their son, Thomas J. Krnak, 21, are reported missing after their abandoned truck is discovered 90 miles from their rural Helenville home. They were scheduled to travel north to a Waushara County cottage near Coloma. Another son, Derek Anderson, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of his father. The remains of the father were found in North Carolina.

Jan. 1997: Three people, two men and one woman, were shot to death and discovered by a teen-ager at a south-side Milwaukee residence.

Feb. 1996: Four people were found dead in a northwest side Milwaukee home, prompting speculation from friends and relatives that jealousy by a victim's ex-boyfriend may have led to murder-suicide.

Dec. 1992: Three teen-age girls and a boy were shot to death in Milwaukee in what was described as a vicious, execution-style killing of youths caught up with criminals. A fifth teen-ager was found critically wounded.

Sept. 1992: The bodies of Leroy Weibel, who was in his late 50s; his wife, Cel Weibel, in her mid-50s, and Suzette Frydenlund of Minneapolis, who was in her late 20s, were found at the Weibels' mobile home in a trailer park beside U.S. 14-61 southeast of La Crosse. They had each been beaten to death with a blunt object. A Minneapolis man and husband to one of the victims, James Frydenlund, 35, was found innocent of the killings.

May 1991: Rick Brenizer, 35; Ruth Berentson, 31; her children, Heidi, 10, and Mindy, 7; and her child with Rick Brenizer, Crystal, 5, were shot with a deer rifle and then their bodies were placed in the family station wagon which was set afire in a wooded area near Balsam Lake in Polk County. Bruce Brenizer, son of Rick Brenizer, was charged as an adult and sentenced to life in prison for the five deaths.

Jan. 1991: At Rama's Tap on Milwaukee?s south side, three people were killed and another was seriously injured when a man opened fire on a crowd on New Year?s Day. Police said a man in his 40s was asked to leave after a dispute with a woman. He returned at about 9 a.m. and began firing at bar patrons. The victims were identified as Jim Guerrero, 37, David Hamelin, 23, and Raymond Hernandez, 33.

July 1987: Four family members, Clarence Kunz, 76, his sisters, Irene, 80, and Marie, 72 and his nephew, Randy, 30, were found murdered execution style in their family farmhouse in Marathon County. The remains of a fifth victim, Helen Kunz, 70, sister of Clarence and mother of Randy, were found many months later. . Chris Jacobs III was found not guilty of the murders but 10 years later was found guilty of kidnapping Helen Kunz in 1987.

Feb. 1985: The Rev. John Rossiter, 64, and lay minister Ferdinand Roth Sr. , 55, were shot while praying in the sanctuary of the St. Patrick?s Roman Catholic Church in Onalaska, while custodian William Hammes, 66, was slain in the basement of the church. Brian Stanley, 33, pleaded guilty to the killings.
