Managed an archive consisting of nearly 500,000 images and two-million articles
Developed and provided training programs in the use of online services, Internet and database use to over 100 journalists
Negotiated license agreements with online vendors, creating solid, on-going relationships
Project and team leader in the selection and installation of a text archive and image archive resulting in a library resource offering efficient retrieval of information to both newsrooms
Supervised a staff of three and responsible for the library’s annual planning and budget
Created a newsroom-wide intranet available to 52 Lee newspapers around the country
